If you go over your data allowance and don't want to permanently upgrade your data plan, you can now buy more data for just the current month. To make the process easy for you, you will receive a text message with instructions on how to get more data when you have used up your monthly allowance. You can buy the extra data packs via SMS, EMT' self-service portal, or at EMT stores.

Buy more data by sending a SMS message

If bought via SMS, the extra data pack includes 2 GB of data for €1.99 (€1.66 excl. VAT), and it runs at your plan's speed.

1. To buy more data for yourself:
   Send a message "LISAMAHT 2GB"  to 123
    
2. To buy more data for another person, tablet, dongle, or router:
   Send a message "LISAMAHT 2GB 5XXXXXX"  to 123
   
   Replace 5XXXXXX with the number of the device for which you want to buy more data. The phone number of the device is included in the text message/e-email sent upon reaching the allowance.

Add-on data will last until the end of the month. If you use it up before the end of the month, you can still access the internet, but the speed will be reduced. You can always buy more add-on packs if you want to keep using internet with full speed.
 

Buy extra data via EMT's self-service portal

The selection of extra data packs is wider at EMT's self-service compared to buying data via SMS.

Depending on your plan, you can buy extra data in packs of 2 GB, 5 GB and 15 GB. Users with at least 1 GB of data in their plan's allowance can buy on data in packs of 2 G and 5 GB. Users of "Internet on Computer L+4G" and "Internet on Computer XL+4G" data plans can buy extra data in packs of 2 GB, 5 GB, and 15 GB.

Terms and conditions

• You can buy extra data before or after your monthly allowance is used up and the speed has been reduced.
• Add-on data is available to customers whose plan includes at least 1 GB of data a month.
• Unused data will expire at the end of the month, there's no rollover to the next month for data add-ons.
• Additional data can be bought for the device which was used for sending the order, or for another device.
• To buy add-on data for a device that does not support text messaging, enter the phone number of the device (tablet, dongle, router) at self-service and use your phone to buy data for the device. The cost of add-on data will be put on the bill of the device for which the data was ordered.
• Add-on data can be bought only by sending a text message from an EMT phone number.
• Add-on data bundles can be bought more than once in a month, however, "Data limit in Estonia" set at self-service applies. By default, the limit is €30.
• The user will receive a notification upon both successful and failed purchase.
